Academy League: Biggest question and outlook
Biggest question to answer this spring: Can the Tartans, now in the East Valley Division, reload for a third consecutive division title?
Outlook: St. Margaret’s was on a different level a year ago against most its division opponents and especially against league foes. It won its three league games by an average of 60 points. Coach Harry Welch will be replacing nearly every skill position but has clearly redefined the culture at St. Margaret’s. The other playoff seed, for now, is wide open between Brethren Christian, Capistrano Valley Christian and Sage Hill, which replaces all-league quarterback Jamie McGee and receiver Nick Witte.
