I think the Orange Coast league is week.
Estancia took a tumble to Bolsa Grande. BG always finishes last in that league. |

| Big back? He's 5'9 at most! that was not even the issue, either, "The Opinion". "perspective" was pointing out that anaheim could not have played its best game without its best offensive weapon. it was not a comparison of other "big backs" like the 6'1 Ruben Ortega. Also, how is it that a far superior defense allowed more yards than overrated
Anaheim's. |

| The reason why I insult the poor magnolia sentinel is becuase he thinks he has the right to talk about other teams such a western. But every year you know magnolia football players read the newspaper about the playoffs instead of playing in them. Anahiem might have what some may consider a decent defensive but westerns defensive is far superior. Number six is just a big back. Does he have the speed and quickness of a D1 prospect? What makes number six different from all the good runningbacks in orange county besides the fact that he big. All the Anahiem fans make him seem like hes the high school version of jerome bettis. Give me a break. |

| Anaheim's defense IS solid, as was demonstrated in victories over playoff teams such as Santiago, Valley, and Western. Having attended most of those games, it was obvious the Colonists were uninspired against Katella, Magnolia, Loara etc. Doesn't it make sense that the team played harder against those squads? Every team, regardless of level of competition, tends to play down, or up, to their opponent's level. Furthermore, did they not contain a Western offense which had averaged fifty points in their previous four games? |

| I don't think it was CIF's mistake, ask your AD and coaches.
Other Leagues made room for make up games. Your schools administration made the decision to ditch that week
CIF really made a big mistake by not resheduling the fire related cancelled games. A coin flip to determine who goes to the play offs? I realize rescheduling all the games would be difficult, but think of all the kids who worked all summer, only to have their hopes dashed by a coin flip. |

Oh, by the way, Mr. Truth, could Anaheim really have been playing at "their best" without their leading rusher/only real offensive weapon? Next time check your facts, Mr "really warped reality" |

| To Olfollower western still won the game and bell despite playing at their worst. Its sad that anahiem played at their best and still lost. Anahiem has been overated from the begining of the season. Anahiem played a weak scedhule and still struggled to get those wins. If Anahiem played westerns preseason scedhule anahiem would have four wins and six losses for the whole season. Anahiem would lose to Los Altos Tustin Valencia Mayfair Savanna and Western of course. Western will be strong next year so dont expect the bell to be back in anahiem for a long time. |

| yeah I admit western had to rally back to win the game but in the end western came out the winner and orangeleague champions despite the fact everyone in league had anahiem to win league from the start of the season. But anahiem wasnt the toughest opponent western played. It was Los Altos which western lost by seven points. Los Altos can definetly beat anyone in this division. |

| Savanna and Anaheim will probably drop a spot and Irvine will be out of top 10 being that they played one less game. That should open it up for Valley, but then again, CIF loves the Empire league, so they might plop Cypress at 10 even though they too, played one less game - that they may have lost. |

| Truthyness, Either you didn't complete high school or you graduated from Western. You need to go back to high school and learn grammar and syntax. You know the word exit does exist. Which high school were you or your son supposed to go to, Rancho, Cypress, Buena Park? Every year Howell has the cream of talent and every year he is the bridesmaid and never the bride. You could give that guy the Indianapolis Colts and he still couldn't win it all. Sit down before you fall down. |

Let alone the last time you beat western was 1980. That was 27 years ago. That has to be the longest streak. By the way first round exist was last year which was westerns worst team according to coach howell. 2003 cif runner up 2004 cif runner up 2005 second round. Get yo facts straight better yet win some games |

Last year Anaheim went as far in the playoffs with homegrown talent as I have ever seen Western go in the playoffs. Year after year you have buku talent from all over the place and cant ever do anything with it. |

If you actually keep with the games in Orange League you will see how over-rated and weak Anahiem is. Anahiem has struggled with opponents Western blew out. Teams like Loara Magnolia Savanna Santa Ana Valley Century. Anahiem will feel the wrath this friday and western will make a statement coming into the playoffs. I don't like how Valencia is ranked higher than Western even though they tied but we shall see in the playoffs. |

| Western has the best running back in the league. Look at the stats Rubin has over 1000 yards in just over 100 carriers. Over 10 yards a carrier. The leading rusher has 1700 with over 180 carries. If Western didn't have so many great running backs Ortaga would be over 1800 yards this season. and he is only a Soph. The most important thing of all, the kid is a GREAT KID. Reminds me of a player named Bobby Brito of Cypress in the late 90s. |
