Yorba Linda senior Isaac Douglass signed a letter of intent with Hope International University, HIU coach Bill Czech confirmed today.
Douglass, 6-foot-4, is averaging 17 points a game for the Mustangs. He was All-Orange County fourth team last season.
Hope, in Fullerton, is an NAIA team. The Royals have enjoyed great success and are ranked No. 10 nationally in NAIA men’s basketball.
Yorba Linda, ranked No. 10 in Orange County, plays No. 6 Servite on Saturday at 1:50 p.m. at Hope in a first-round game of the Orange Holiday Classic.
