2007 champion: Long Beach Wilson
Top seeds: 1. Los Alamitos; 2. Orange Lutheran; 3. Hart of Newhall; 4. Simi Valley
O.C. angle: Los Alamitos was the best offensive team in the county. Lutheran has the best pitcher, Gerrit Cole. Capistrano Valley has been among the county's hottest teams the past few weeks. Edison is young, but talented. That Aliso Niguel-El Modena first-round game looks like a good one.
Final four: Los Alamitos, Orange Lutheran, Lakewood, Long Beach Wilson
