Playoffs picks contest begins
Think you can pick football winners better than the ocvarsity.com staff? Well, you might be right, but there's only one way to find out for sure.
It's time to enter the ocvarsity.com playoffs picks contest. The big prize, of course, is pride. You know, the right to talk all the trash you want until next year's contest begins.
Here's the deal:
To enter, you must submit a list of the winners for all CIF football playoff games involving Orange County teams before kickoff of each week's games. For the first round, that means your picks for 30 games are due before 7 p.m. today.

You only can receive points for the games you pick (thus, you can skip games, but you can't earn points in the standings for the games you skip).
E-mail your entries to preps@ocregister.com. Standings for each of the four rounds (and cumulatively) will be posted on ocvarsity.com each Monday during the contest.
