The wait is over -- football is back.

OK, so it's spring football, but that doesn't mean it's not important or of little interest.

As the diehard fans will tell you, the county teams have been back on the practice field since Monday, getting to work on the important preparation for the 2008 season.

OCVarsity.com will be out there with the teams over the next several weeks, getting key insights and notes from the coaches and players.

But for those who can't wait for the practice updates, check out the Spring Football Preview collection, a league-by-league look at the stars, the early favorites, the biggest questions and the outlooks from both ends of the county.

(Editor's note: The South Coast League preview is missing from this list but will be published shortly.)
