Orange Lutheran's reign challenged in O.C. baseball poll

The voting was the closest it has been in weeks, but Orange Lutheran held off Los Alamitos to remain the top-ranked baseball team in the county.The Lancers (20-4) were able to outdistance the Griffins (22-3) in Monday's media poll, 87-84, despite a loss last week. Mater Dei (19-6) is No. 3 in the rankings.
Orange Lutheran split two games against Mater Dei last week, winning on Wednesday, 4-1, and losing on Friday, 4-3.
