O.C. baseball poll: Los Alamitos still No. 1 despite first loss

Los Alamitos' baseball team picked up all of the first-place votes Monday in the media poll to remain the No. 1-ranked team in Orange County.

The Griffins (8-1) have been No. 1 in the county every week this season.

They started last week by losing one of their two games in a doubleheader against Long Beach Poly. An 8-5 loss to the Bruins was their first of the season. Los Alamitos went on to win its other two games last week, 8-5 over Fountain Valley and 15-4 over Garfield.
