Buena Park speedy junior wide receiver Jeremiah Hawkins (5-10, 178) has committed to Cal, Coyotes football coach Anthony White confirmed Monday night.
Hawkins becomes the second Buena Park junior to commit to the Golden Bears, joining wide receiver Taariq Johnson (6-3, 205) as a Cal commit.
Hawkins also appears set to reunite with his relative, Cal defensive back and former Buena Park standout, Jaylinn Hawkins.
Meanwhile, Buena Park’s class of 2017 recruitng class is off to a strong start with likely several more commits to come.
Hawkins is the fifth O.C. junior to commit to a four-year school.
