Hart of Newhall and quarterback Brady White defeated St. John Bosco and quarterback Josh Rosen, 19-13, to capture Edison’s “Battle at the Beach” passing tournament Saturday.
In the semifinals, the Braves defeated Santa Margarita and quarterback KJ Costello in a Trinity League clash while Hart beat Serra of Gardena.
Costello, who will be a junior in the fall, has really improved from last season.
