Mater Dei freshman wide receiver Bru McCoy (6-foot-2) has been offered by Oregon, the lower-level standout said in a post on Twitter.
McCoy also plays outside linebacker, showing aggressive pursuits and the same burst he uses on offense. He was selected co-MVP of the freshman team.
With Mater Dei freshman quarterback JT Daniels playing well on the varsity level, the future looks bright for the Monarchs, who play Centennial of Corona in the Pac-5 Division semifinals this week.h
