Huntington Beach offensive tackles Quinn Hudak (6-9, 280) and Jake McFetridge (6-6, 285) have been offered by FCS No. 15-ranked Montana State, Oilers football coach Eric Lo said.
Hudak starts at right tackle for the Oilers while McFetridge operates at left tackle. McFetridge also has been offered by San Diego.
The Oilers (1-4) have a bye this week. Last season’s CIF Southwest champions have fallen to some strong teams (San Clemente, JSerra) and lost two key players for the season against Moorpark: defensive end Hojun Lee (ankle) and safety/receiver Tyler Crimmens (jaw).
HB opens the Sunset League against Newport Harbor next week in a pairing from last season’s Southwest Division final.
