Add U.S. Army All-American to the ways to describe San Clemente quarterback and USC commit Sam Darnold.
The senior has accepted an invitational to play in the high profile all-star game Jan. 3 in San Antonio, Tritons football coach Jaime Ortiz reported Wednesday.
Darnold will be the second San Clemente player to participate in the game, joining offensive lineman Kyle Murphy (Stanford).
