Kim Ensey has resigned as Edison High’s softball coach, Chargers Athletic Director Rich Boyce confirmed on Monday morning.

Ensey had coached Edison the past four seasons, compiling a 64-50 record in her time on campus, while leading the Chargers to the postseason three of the past four years.

“It was just some personal reasons,” Boyce said of Ensey stepping down. “We want to thank her for everything she’s done, taking us to the playoffs all the time. We wish her the best of luck, and hope to find someone that’s capable of getting us through this.”

Boyce added the school is currently accepting applications for the head coaching position. Resumes can be sent to rboyce@hbuhsd.edu.
