Pacifica's Rebel Force trails The Empire, 4-3, heading into the top of the seventh. The Mariners are down to their final three outs. Can they rally and blow up the Death Star? We'll see.

Ruby Rivera with a slow roller up the middle. That might be a single ... DENIED!!! Santiago shortstop makes an amazing throw to gun down Rivera at first. One down.

The peaceful planet of Alderaan could be doomed if Pacifica doesn't blow up the Death Star.

Oklahoma State-bound Erika Campbell doubles to left and the Rebel Force has a heart beat.

Full count to Ohio State-bound Rebecca Lee. Romero walks her and the Mariners have runners on first and second.

Romero is gassing. She's having a hard time finding the strike zone. Lord Vader goes out to talk to her.

"Do not fail me again," is what I'm imagining Vader tells her.

Hawaii, Manoa-bound Kristina Akiona up to bat for the Mariners. Akiona goes down on a called third strike. Two down.

Faith Canfield had an RBI single in the fifth and Pacifica's fate and the fate of Alderaan rests with her. Canfield smokes one down the first-base line ... but it's foul.

Canfield hits one high and deep down the right-field line, but it's a foul ball out of play. Canfield grounds out to end the game.

Santiago rallies from a 3-0 deficit to beat Pacifica, 4-3. The defending Division 1 champs advance to the semifinals to face Edison on Tuesday.

Pacifica coach Mark Campbell barks at Santiago coach John Perez after the game. They didn't shake hands.
