El Dorado’s first-round game in the CIF Southern California Regionals will be played at Valencia High on Wednesday, Golden Hawks coach Wayne Carlson said.
The Golden Hawks earned a home game with the No. 3 seed in Division 2 after reaching the CIF-SS Division 2A final. But El Dorado’s gymnasium is reserved for a previously scheduled eighth-grade showcase.
El Dorado will play Serra of San Diego on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in Valencia’s gym instead.
If El Dorado wins, the Golden Hawks will play in their home gym on Saturday at a time to be determined, El Dorado High Principal Carey Cecil said in an email. There is a Sadie Hawkins dance scheduled in the gym on Saturday at 8 p.m.
