Harvard-Westlake of Studio City’s boys water polo team snapped another one of Mater Dei’s streaks Saturday at the Santa Barbara Invitational.
The Wolverines dethroned the Monarchs as the tournament’s three-time defending champion by defeating Mater Dei, 10-8, in the finals at Santa Barbara.
Last season, Harvard-Westlake ended Mater Dei’s reign as the three-time defending Division 1 champion by beating the Monarchs in the CIF-SS Division finals.
