San Clemente football All-Orange County tight end Cole Fotheringham said he lives in “the best place on Earth.”

Utah, though, he figures is a fine destination.

“I have family there and now I’ll be able to visit them all the time,” Fotheringham said. “I’m going to where my roots are. Utah just feels like home.”

Fotheringham will take his Mormon mission before he plays football at Utah which recruited him as a tight end.

“I’ll be a tight end when I get there,” he said. “Unless I gain like 50 pounds during my mission and they move me to defensive line.”
