Former Los Alamitos All-County linebacker Sean Clark has been named varsity football head coach at Kennedy, the school announced today.
Clark has been an assistant varsity and lower levels coach at Kennedy since 2011. He previously was an assistant coach at Los alamitos and at Lakewood. Clar was All-County first team in 2003.
Clark replaces Brit Johnson who resigned after the 2014 season, his seventh as Fighting Irish head coach. Kennedy finished fourth in the six-team Empire League in ’14 with a 2-3 league record. The Fighting Irish were 5-5 overall to give Johnson a 32-41 record at Kennedy.
