Northwood’s 16-and-under boys club water polo team has reached the finals of today’s Junior Olympics at the William Woollett Jr. Aquatics Center.
Northwood, featuring players from Orange Lutheran, takes on Del Mar of San Diego at 3:30 p.m.
Regency’s two-time defending champion 18-and-under boys fell to Santa Barbara Polo Pals, a newly-formed group featuring ex-Harvard-Westlake star Johnny Hooper among others, in the semifinals, 15-8.
Regency, composed of players from Mater Dei, also lost to L.A. Premier, 11-10, on Monday. The 18’s boys final between Premier and Santa Barbara Polo Pals is at 4:45 p.m.
