Servite swimmer Stephen Marcin of the Irvine Novaquatics has committed to Penn, the swim club announced on Twitter.
Marcin finished second in the 500-yard free last season at the CIF-SS Division 1 finals with a time of 4 minutes, 24.30 seconds. He also took fourth in the 200 free with a swift time of 1 minute, 38.16 seconds.
Marcin also is a standout water polo for the county-ranked Friars, which makes him one of the best overall aquatics athletes in Orange County.
