  • Girls volleyball: Alyse Ford makes debut By DAMIAN CALHOUN
    Senior outside hitter Alyse Ford, who transferred to Mater Dei, made her season debut Wednesday night in a five-set loss to La Costa Canyon. Polk had resigned Thursday amid controversy over the selection of players to the junior varsity team, but he rescinded his resignation and held practice Monday.
