Segerstrom High officials named Brandon Rogers as the school’s new boys basketball coach Wednesday afternoon.
Rogers replaces Adrian Gomez, who resigned after 10 seasons. Gomez started the Segerstrom program in 2005.
Rogers is a graduate of Santa Ana Valley. He played basketball at Irvine Valley College and Menlo College.

Great pitchers are all over south Orange County baseball and in the Sunset and Trinity leagues, too. JSerra alone could have multiple pitchers on the All-County and All-CIF teams.
