    Aria Fischer scored five goals, Makenzie Fischer added three and Holly Parker made 12 saves as Laguna Beach's girls water polo team capped a perfect season with an 11-6 victory against Foothill in the CIF-SS Division 1 final.

    It was the Breakers' second consecutive Division 1 crown.

    Girls water polo: Ocean View falls in Div. 6 final

    Alyssa Welfringer made 12 saves and Nikki Langley scored twice but Ocean View's girls water polo team fell to a talented Pasadena Poly, 10-4, in the CIF-SS Division 6 final in Irvine on Saturday.

    The top-seeded Panthers led, 6-1, at halftime in a convincing victory.

    Wrestling: CIF-SS Masters Meet Update

    The first round of consolation wrestling is done. The winners qualified for the state tournament. The losers in that round drop to the ninth-place mini bracket.

    Orange Lutheran hockey captures state title

    After being the top-ranked team in the state all year, Orange Lutheran coach Dan Adams implored the Lancers to leave no doubts during the CAHA State Playoffs.

    The Lancers lived up to their ranking while advancing to the championship game this past Sunday at Anaheim Ice. And after they defeated Santa Margarita, 3-1, in the final, the players celebrated earning the first state title in the program’s five-year history.
