Zener is a four-year starter for the Highlanders. She has led the team in scoring three consecutive years. She is averaging 12.2 points a game this season. She is the top-ranked student, out of 500, in her class. Zener is three-year member of the California Scholarship Federation and two-year member of National Honor Society. She is a three-year member of the Link Crew. Zener has also been a part of the AP Heritage Program for four years. Zener is co-founder of the school’s Feminist Club. She is enrolled in AP macroeconomics, AP English literature, AP calculus AB, AP environmental science, sports and women and AP psychology. Next fall she will begin attending Smith College in Masschusetts, where she will continue playing basketball and will pursue a major in political psychology and gender studies.
