She will attend Georgia Tech next year and compete in diving. Last week she finished fifth at the CIF Division 3 finals with a score of 434.00. Young captured Academy League titles as a junior and senior, and she finished second at the Santa Margarita Invitational. She plans to major in biology and aspires to be a veterinarian who specializes in horses. She works with horses at Genuine Farms in San Juan Capistrano. She is taking AP calculus. Young holds a certification of merit in piano. She dives and coaches with the Mission Viejo Nadadores. Young is a member of the National Honors Society and CSF.
