Yellin is a four-year varsity member of the Cougars’ swim team. She is also a two-year captain. She is taking five AP classes (calculus, Spanish, English literature, U.S. Government and psychology). She won the 200 free at the South Coast League finals with a time of 1:52.09 and was third in the 100 back with a time of 58.25. Yellin is a National Honor Society Member and a member of the Capistrano Valley spirit club. Yellin is an on-campus tutor and volunteers with the Special Olympics. As a freshman, Yellin traveled to Namibia to tutor orphans. She received the Coach’s Excellence Award for her club team, Mission Viejo Nadaores. Yellin will attend SMU in the fall and plans to study psychology.
