The Register has selected five athletes to receive its Athletes of the Year honors for 2015-16:
• Boys Athlete of the Year: Santa Margarita swimmer Grant Shoults;
• Girls Athlete of the Year: Canyon pole vaulter Rachel Baxter;
• Small Schools Boys Co-Athletes of the Year: Calvary Chapel wrestlers Justin and Jeremy Thomas;
• Small Schools Girls Athlete of the Year: Tarburt V’Torah soccer player Carly Malatskey.
