Outlook: San Clemente is playing in its third consecutive CIF-SS Final, but still looking for its first title. The Tritons lost the last two Southwest Division Finals in games that ended in heart-breaking fashion. San Clemente has firepower on offense with quarterback Jack Sears and dynamic senior Brandon Reaves. Sears, a USC commit, has thrown for 2,033 yards with 31 touchdowns and only two interceptions, and he was run for 836 yards and seven touchdowns. Reaves has put together 1,839 all-purpose yards and 24 touchdowns scored in various ways. Murrieta Valley is averaging 50 points per game and just over 63 points per game in the playoffs. Quarterback Hank Bachmeier has thrown for 3,632 yards with 44 touchdowns and three interceptions. Running back Olita Palmer has rushed for 2,259 yards and 28 touchdowns, and Marquis Spiker has piled up 1,494 yards receiving. Spiker also has scored 23 touchdowns.
