Justin Sanchez rushed for four touchdowns and cornerback Marc Audet grabbed four interceptions as Saddleback Valley Christian rolled to a 68-6 victory against Southlands Christian of Walnut in a San Joaquin League game at San Juan Hills on Friday.
Saddleback Valley Christian is is 8-0 overall and 3-0 in the league. The Warriors are ranked fifth in the East Valley Division.
In the Olympic League:
Whittier Christian 48, Village Christian of Sun Valley 37: The Heralds (1-7, 1-1) earned their first victory of the season as Joe Hernandez completed 31 of 40 passes and threw for 402 yards at Whittier College.
Heralds receiver Noah Evans caught 14 passes for 218 yards and two touchdowns, and Justin Osborne caught six passes for 85 yards and a touchdown.
Osborne also rushed for 160 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries. Nick Watase rushed for 111 yards on 13 carries and scored two touchdowns.
