ANAHEIM – Nathan Lowden scored three touchdowns on the ground in the first quarter, while Adam Satti connected on a pair of touchdown passes in the second quarter, as California routed Magnolia, 56-6, in a nonleague game Thursday night at Magnolia High.

The Condors (3-2), who have won all their games this season on the road, compiled 411 yards on offense and took a 42-6 lead at the half. Magnolia (2-3), without a home win on the campaign, was held to 109 yards total offense and committed four turnovers.

California scored its first 28 points in the game’s first 12:05. Lowden completed a 62-yard, eight-play drive on the Condors’ opening possession with an 8-yard TD run. Four minutes later his second score came from 10 yards out.

Following an interception by Brendon Simpson deep in Sentinels territory, Lowden added a 2-yard TD run with 3:06 left in the first quarter. After limited action in the second period, he ended his evening with 122 yards on 16 carries.

Nathan Guidino gave the Condors a 28-0 advantage on the first play of the second quarter on a 4-yard run.

Magnolia would later score its only touchdown of the night on a 1-yard run by Jose Lopez with just under seven minutes before halftime.

Satti, who completed 8 of 12 throws for 121 yards, found Traie Kastle-Givens twice for touchdowns before the half.

The first was a 9-yard hookup, then a pickoff by James Contreras was converted into a 35-yard TD pass on fourth down.

The 36-point halftime lead for the Condors had the teams agree to a running clock for the second half, but it was enough time for California to have Gabriel Cosio and Andrew Reyes each add a rushing touchdown in the final quarter.
