Nicole Willis

Yorba Linda

Willis scored seven goals against Oak Park in a 17-1 victory and three goals against Rosary in an 18-1 victory. She is the leading scorer in the county with 34 goals in nine games.

“As a freshman she helped build the program at Yorba Linda High School,” said Coach Jon Aed. “With no seniors at the school, she stepped up from day one as a leader, both on and off the field.”

Willis has been a captain for both of Yorba Linda’s varsity seasons.

“Last year she was an alternate on the WDNT team, and recently made this year’s team,” Aed said. “Against any team you can tell she is a special player, one of the top up and coming prospects.

“Nicole has the competitive drive every coach loves to have in a player. Practice, games, wall ball…she wants to get better every time she touches a stick. Her hard work on the field, as well as in the classroom, not only makes Nicole better, but everyone she surrounds herself with.”
