OCVarsity’s girls scholar-athlete of the week:

MOLLY PATAPOFF

WHITTIER CHRISTIAN

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

GPA: 4.65

The senior libero was selected MVP of the Pacific Ridge Firebird Classic this past weekend, leading Whittier Christian to a third-place finish. Patapoff is enrolled in three AP courses (US government, literature and chemistry) and two concurrent courses (calculus and world civilizations). She is a member of the National Honor Society, California Scholastic Federation and National Society of High School Scholars. Patapoff has been honored as one of the top 10 students at Whittier Christian the past three years. She was Junior Honor Guard last year with a top-four GPA in her class. She is on the leadership team for chapel and volunteers at the Interfaith Food Center of Santa Fe Springs. Her college choices include Hawaii, Washington State, East Carolina and UC Santa Barbara.
