7. La Habra (11-1, 45)

Quarterback Eric Barriere had a great game, as did Prince Ross – eight receptions for 120 yards and two touchdowns – in Highlanders’ 42-14 win over Laguna Hills in Southwest Division playoff game. This week: vs. Villa Park, Friday

8. Santa Margarita (5-5, 36)

All but one team, Servite, that beat the Eagles made the playoffs in what turned out to be a disappointing season. This week: season over

9. San Juan Hills (8-3 12)

Stallions’ season, which ended with a loss in the first round of the West Valley Division playoffs, included wins over semifinalists Canyon and San Clemente. This week: season over

10. San Clemente (10-2, 10)

Tritons have scored 52 points in each of their playoffs wins on their way to the Southwest Division semifinals. This week: Buena Park
