2. Mission Viejo (5-0, 89 points)

Diablos defense got three first-half turnovers that Brock Johnson-led offense converted into touchdowns in 37-13 win over Norco. This week: at Redondo of Redondo Beach, Friday

3. Santa Margarita (2-1, 69)

Even the best quarterbacks need time to throw. KJ Costello was sacked six times in a 21-14 loss at Westlake of Westlake Village. This week: vs. King of Riverside at Saddleback College, Friday

6. Tesoro (3-1, 53)

Titans got their first shutout since 2010 season opener, 62 games ago, with 35-0 win over West Covina. Devon Moster threw for 343 yards and four touchdowns. This week: vs. Corona del Mar at Estancia High, Thursday

7. La Habra (3-1, 43)

High drama for the Highlanders, who beat Los Alamitos, 37-32, on the final play of the game, with a 44-yard touchdown pass from Eric Barriere to Eric Lancaster-Garcia. This week: at Colony of Ontario, Thursday

8. Los Alamitos (2-1, 26)

Griffins rallied from 17-point halftime deficit to take the lead, but couldn’t finish off La Habra in wild ending. They play against another standout quarterback in a few days. This week: at San Juan Hills, Friday

9. Servite (2-2, 25)

Friars ran 25 fewer offensive plays and were outgained by 123 yards. but still beat Edison, 21-14. This week: at Bishop Gorman of Las Vegas, Friday

10. San Juan Hills (4-0, 11)

Patrick O’Brien threw three touchown passes in the first quarter as Stallions took big early lead and cruised to 51-6 win over Marina. This week: vs. Los Alamitos, Friday
