Records through Sunday, Jan. 18.

1. Mater Dei, 17-1

The start of Trinity League play didn’t change much. The Monarchs are still dominating.

2. Brea Olinda, 14-2

The Wildcats haven’t really been tested since 2014, but that should change Tuesday against No. 8 El Dorado.

3. Foothill, 15-2

The Knights are in the same category as league mate Brea, but there could be a shakeup in the Top 10 after games against El Dorado and Brea coming up.

4. JSerra, 13-5

The Lions struggled, like everyone else has this season, against Mater Dei to kick off last week, but rallied back with a close win over No. 6 Orange Lutheran and gave a game effort in a loss to Mission Hills of San Marcos (13-5).

5. Troy, 10-6

During Freeway League play last week, the Warriors looked as dominant as ever, defeating Fullerton and Sonora by significant margins, but lost to McClatchy of Sacramento in NorCal on Saturday.

6. Orange Lutheran, 14-4

Hard to see the Lancers moving back into the Top 5 after dropping a close game to No. 4 JSerra last week, as well as a previous loss to Foothill.

7. Fairmont Prep, 13-2

Saturday’s 12-point win over Valencia of Valencia (13-6) may have been the Huskies’ best victory of the season.

8. El Dorado, 14-5

The Golden Hawks began the season as the No. 3 team in the county and could return to that spot if they can upset No. 2 Brea on Tuesday.

9. Orangewood Academy, 13-3

Only one game for the Spartans last week, a 55-43 win over Newbury Park (7-12).

10. Los Alamitos, 14-5

The final spot in the Top 10 changes hands for the fourth week in a row after the Griffins took control of the Sunset League last week with wins over Huntington Beach and Fountain Valley.

Others: Woodbridge (13-5), Tesoro (16-3), San Clemente (11-7), Fountain Valley (15-4), Sonora (13-5)
