St. John Bosco, coming off a 28-25 victory against Mater Dei on Friday, remains atop the SoCal VarsityTop 20 rankings entering Week 7.

The Braves (5-1,1-0) are again the poll’s unanimous No. 1 selection after opening Trinity League play by defeating the second-ranked Monarchs (5-1, 0-1). Despite the loss, Mater Dei remained in the second position, followed by Centennial of Corona (4-2, 1-0).

This week’s schedule features more attractive SoCal Varsity Top 20 games as the Monarchs take on Servite (4-2, 1-0), which is tied with JSerra for fourth. The game will be played at Cerritos College on Friday.

JSerra (6-0, 1-0) plays host to St. John Bosco at Orange Coast College.

In the competitive Mission League, No. 8 Bishop Amat (4-3, 2-1) will aim for a third straight league win when it plays host to No. 17 Chaminade (5-2, 1-2).

In the Inland Empire League, rising No. 7 Chino Hills (5-1, 1-0) plays at former SoCal-ranked Upland (4-2, 1-0) in one of the biggest games of the week. The game could decide the Baseline League title.
