St. John Bosco remains the unanimous top-ranked team in this week’s SoCal Varsity Top 20.

The Braves (3-0) received all six first-place votes from the media members who voted in the poll.

The Trinity League, home to St. John Bosco, also continued to flex its strength with all six teams earning spots in the top 12.

Mater Dei (2-0) is ranked second heading into its Week 3 showdown against former top 10-ranked Upland.

Upland was bounced from the poll after being upset by Tesoro, 28-14. The Titans return to the rankings at No. 20.

Corona del Mar (3-0), coming off a 31-14 victory against El Toro, climbed four spots to 15th.

Rancho Verde of Moreno Valley (3-0) makes its debut in the Top 20 after defeating Great Oak of Temecula, 69-21.

This week’s top SoCal games also include No. 3 Long Beach Poly at No. 8 Centennial of Corona and No. 14 Bishop Amat at No. 19 Chino Hills.
