Welcome back to OCVarsity On the Record with Brian Whitehead and Damian Calhoun.

This week, the guys are joined by OCVarsity’s Jonathan Khamis, who chimes in on all things spring sports.

Damian leads by talking boys volleyball. Which players earned first-team laurels at the recent O.C. Championships? Which Orange County league is the “Trinity League” of boys volleyball? And can Damian remember which O.C. league doesn’t play volleyball?

Volleyball leads to lacrosse, where Damian shares what he knows about the O.C. landscape. (Essentially, that both Foothill teams are good; that you need a good team to be a good team; that the playoffs start soon; and that it’s too hot outside to be covering lacrosse right now. Sorry, lacrosse fans.)

Lacrosse leads to baseball, which is becoming increasingly competitive as the spring progresses. How good is Edison? And how are the Anaheim Lions Tournament and Ryan Lemmon Classic shaping up?

After some brief basketball talk, near the 31-minute mark, the guys begin breaking down Wrestlemania 31. Enough said.

It’s the podcast Brian’s envisioned since he started this whole thing six months ago.

All this and more on OCVarsity On the Record.
