MONTCLAIR – Sunny Hills wiped out a nine-point third-quarter deficit and responded with 14 points in the final eight minutes to upend Montclair, 26-21, in a nonleague at Montclair High on Friday night.

An onside kick recovery at the Cavaliers' 40-yard line with 7:43 left in the game set up the game-winning touchdown for the Lancers (3-0).

Four plays later, Montclair cornerback Louie Duran tipped Connor Holz's pass and an unguarded Brandon Vizcaya took the deflection 27 yards for a touchdown to give Sunny Hills the lead for good with 6:04 remaining in the fourth.

It was Vizcaya's lone catch of the night and first receiving touchdown of the year.

Vizcaya then provided the last points of the night with two-point conversion run.

The senior running back led the Lancers' ground attack on the preceding drive, carrying the ball on six of the nine plays and concluding it on a 23-yard scoring rush that brought them within three points of the host Cavaliers (2-2) after the PAT failed.

Vizcaya ran for 147 yards on 32 carries and has seven rushing touchdowns this season.

Montclair claimed its largest lead of the contest after a 25-yard touchdown run by Phillip Gallegos with 6:14 to play in the third to go up, 21-12.

Gallegos rushed for 114yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries.

The Lancers used three straight runs by Vizcaya and two Montclair penalties to take a 12-7 lead 4:52 before halftime.

Vizcaya's 1-yard touchdown run on fourth-and goal finished a 14-play drive.
