Mission Viejo sophomore standouts Austin Osborne (6-2, 175) and Olaijah Griffin (6-2, 170) have been offered by Oregon, they announced on Twitter.

Osborne was a first-team All-County wide receiver while Griffin was a second-team All-County cornerback.

Both played key roles in helping the Diablos (16-0) capture the CIF West Valley Division crown and state Division I-AA championship.

“I’M SO PROUD OF MY YOUNGINS!!!” Mission Viejo quarterback Brock Johnson posted on Twitter.

Osborne racked up 51 catches for 1,262 yards as a No. 1 target while Griffin was the Diablos’ best cover-corner, starred on special teams with Brenden Schooler and also played wide receiver.

Osborne is a long-striding runner with fluid movement. Griffin is a physical player who looks every bit 6-foot-2, 170 pounds as a sophomore. It will be interesting to see how much bigger he gets, so safety could be in his future.

The Ducks have been offering rising county players early. They also have offered Mater Dei freshman Bru McCoy.

The county’s class of 2018 is already looking loaded. Don’t forget about Mater Dei wide out Amon-Ra St. Brown and Mater Dei sophomore OL Tommy Brown.
