Vazquez is a senior captain for the Sailors lacrosse team. She was selected Most Valuable Attacker last season and earned second-team all-league honors. She’s currently enrolled in AP Computer Science, IB American History HL2, IB French SL2, IB Literature and Composition HL 2, AP Calculus BC, AP Physics C and IB Visual Art HL 2. She’s the 2015 Valedictorian Scholar and an IB Diploma candidate. Vazquez has participated in missionary work in Tecate, Mexico, building homes and working with orphans from the San Juan del Bosco orphanage. She has also served as the head translator for St. Andrew’s Church on the trip. She’s uncommitted, but has plans on majoring in civil engineering or architecture.
