Fountain Valley’s Blake Vasquez (165) is in the quarterfinals at Flo Nationals.
Vasquez opened the tournament with at 12-2 major decision victory over Cade Wilson of Nazareth and then a victory by fall over Uriel Beristain.
He will face Trent Hidlay of Pennslyvania in the quarterfinals, Friday.
Fountain Valley’s Merrick O’Donnell is alive in the consolation bracket. Cole Brisbine went 0-2 in the heavyweight bracket.
