Capo Valley athletes sign letters of intent

The first of the twelve Capistrano Valley High athletes to sign was, in alphabetical order, Tarek Abdelghany who will go to Stanford on a diving scholarship.

Twelve of the fourteen Capistrano Valley High School athletes who were available for the signing event Thursday, pose for a photo, many wearing their soon-to-be college names. This signing is the earliest of three and is only open to a few sports.

Parents, family and friends were on hand at Capistrano Valley High School Thursday for the athlete signing event to clap and take photos of their stars.
