1. La Habra, 7-3

The Highlanders’ lone game this week will take them to play a talented Valencia of Valencia squad on the road Friday.

2. Mission Viejo, 7-3

Kyra Snyder pitched a three-hit shutout and Camryn Ybarra hit a solo home run as the Diablos topped Los Alamitos, 2-0, to win the Best of the West tournament.

3. Los Alamitos, 8-2

The Griffins get a second crack at Mission Viejo on Thursday in a nonleague contest.

4. Orange Lutheran, 7-2

The Lancers end a two-week hiatus Saturday with a doubleheader against St. Anthony of Long Beach.

5. Mater Dei, 10-2

The Monarchs bounced back from a 12-0 loss to Los Alamitos with a 3-2 win against Pacifica.

6. Pacifica, 6-4

Three of the Mariners losses have come by two runs or less to top-five county teams La Habra, Mission Viejo and Mater Dei.

7. Villa Park, 9-3

Spartans senior Lexi Ruel tossed a complete game and went 2 for 2 at the plate with a pair of RBI in a 6-3 win over Woodbridge.

8. Capistrano Valley, 8-2

The Cougars will play at Santa Margarita on Thursday, a week after topping the Eagles in the Saddleback Valley Tournament championship.

9. Rosary, 9-2

The Royals topped a very good Murrieta Mesa team on Saturday for its seventh straight win.

10. Santa Margarita, 10-2

The Eagles close out the nonlegaue portion of their schedule this week against Aliso Niguel, Capistrano Valley and San Juan Hills.
