The top-ranked University boys tennis team made history with a 14-4 victory over No. 2 Corona del Mar in a Pacific Coast League match Tuesday.

With the win, the Trojans (10-0, 3-0) extended their dual-match winning streak to 100 straight contests.

University last lost a dual in the 2009 when it dropped the CIF-SS Division I finals to Thousand Oaks High. Since then, the Trojans are unbeaten in team head-to-heads. They have won 80 straight Pacific Coast League matches.

Junior Arash Hafezi went 3-0 in his singles sets to pace the Trojans, dropping only two games in the process.

The Sea Kings are the last Orange County school to have bested University, but that was back in 2006. Since that loss, the Trojans are 190-6 overall in duals.
