Turley-Young took over the state lead in the triple jump with a wind-legal mark of 38 feet, 9 inches in the Beach Cities Invitational on Saturday. The junior also set county-leading marks in the 100 (12.15), the 100 hurdles (14.6) and the long jump (18-0.5).
