Corona del Mar's boys lacrosse team, which rolled through the regular season with a perfect record, is the top seed in the U.S. Lacrosse Division 1 South playoffs beginning Tuesday.

The Sea Kings, who are 19-0 and finished 10-0 to win the Pacific Coast League, will host No. 16 Servite at 5:30 p.m.

"We are certainly proud of our regular season accomplishments, but they mean absolutely nothing now," said Coach G.W. Mix. "All that matters is that we find a way to win on Tuesday so we can play again on Thursday.

"It is going to be a very tough tournament for anyone fortunate enough to win it. There does not seem to be an easy road. We are the top seed and our path is not any easier than anyone else's. I think this has been a very good year for the development of lacrosse in Orange County with the emergence of a number of very competitive teams who all have legitimate chances to win this thing. It should be some great lacrosse."

Corona del Mar is out to end the reign of Foothill, which has won five consecutive county and Southern California titles under Coach Jon Fox.

The Knights are seeded fourth and will host No. 13 Dana Hills Tuesday at 3:30 p.m.

Tesoro is the No. 2 seed and will host No. 15 Esperanza Tuesday at 7 p.m.

San Clemente is the No. 3 seed and will host No. 14 Beckman Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.

The second round is Thursday. Great Oak of Temecula is included in the Orange County section for the playoffs and is seeded No. 7.

Opening round schedule Tuesday:

No. 16 Servite at No. 1 Corona del Mar, 5:30 p.m.; No. 9 JSerra at No. 8 Huntington Beach, 5:45 p.m.; No. 13 Dana Hills at No. 4 Foothill, 3:30 p.m.; No. 12 Newport Harbor at No. 5 St. Margaret's, 4:30 p.m.

No. 15 Esperanza at No. 2 Tesoro, 7 p.m.; No. 10 Santa Margarita at No. 7 Great Oak; No. 14 Beckman at No. 3 San Clemente, 4:30 p.m.; No. 11 El Toro at No. 6 Los Alamitos, 7:30 p.m.
