Trinity League champion St. John Bosco closes out the regular season in the SoCal Varsity Top 20 rankings where it started: No. 1.

The Braves (9-1), who captured a third consecutive, undefeated Trinity League title on Friday, remain the unanimous top selection, followed by Trinity League runner-up JSerra, ranked No. 1 in Orange County.

St. John Bosco extended its Trinity League winning streak to 16 games with a 58-34 victory against Santa Margarita. “That’s tough to do,” Braves coach Jason Negro said of the streak, “especially with all the guys we graduated.”

St. John Bosco and JSerra also grabbed the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds for the CIF Pac-5 Division playoffs, which start Friday.

Eleven teams in the SoCal Varsity Top 20 will be part of the Pac-5 playoffs, including the all of the top 10.
