San Juan Hills is in the California football top 25 for the first time.

The Stallions (6-0) are at No. 23 in the state rankings compiled at CalHiSports.com. They have beaten Los Alamitos and San Clemente.

Other county teams in the state top 25: No. 4 Mater Dei (5-0); No. 7 Mission Viejo (6-0); No. 19. Santa Margarita (4-1); No. 20 Orange Lutheran (3-2); and No. 24 JSerra (5-0).

The website’s “on the bubble” teams include Servite (2-3) and Tesoro (5-1).

The top three teams in those state rankings are No. 1 De La Salle, No. 2 Centennial of Corona and No. 3 St. John Bosco.

San Juan Hills also made its Orange County football top 10 debut this season.
